HOW YOU CAN HELP

Volunteer as a team-building activity or as a long-term individual commitment. We have volunteer opportunities in all areas of our work from voluntary coaches to administrative volunteers, from gardening to cleaning.

Giving your time, skills and creativity can make an amazing difference to the young people involved in Sky High at Fun Abounds. If you have a special skill that you think would be helpful or are interested in getting involved with us, please get in touch today.

Becoming a volunteer with Sky High Trampoline Gymnastics Academy means that you’ll be joining a team of passionate, inspirational coaches as well as all of our amazing behind the scenes staff who help deliver our programmes. Whatever your talent – you could have the opportunity to make a real impact on a young person’s life.

Whilst we are having to implement social distancing measures, we need volunteers to meet and greet the gymnasts, take their temperatures, ask them to sanitise their hands and remind them to stay apart!  Hourly time slots needed:

Monday to Friday 15:45, 16:45 & 17:45

Saturday 08:45, 09:45 & 10:45

When we are able to return to some sort of normality, we will be reopening our café and will need volunteers to serve drinks and snacks and take money through the till or via the card machine.  Times needed:

Monday to Friday 15:45 – 17:45

Saturday 09:00 – 12:00

The Centre is huge and we always need help with jobs such as keeping the outside of the building clear of weeds, small maintenance jobs, getting rid of cobwebs, hoovering, putting away equipment – you name it, we need it!  We also need help at our Mini Fun sessions to help clean the toys after each session.  Times needed are: Tuesday and Friday 09:30 – 11:00 & 11:30 – 13:00.

The nature of our sport is that often those who take part have to wear leotards and additional kit.  We would really appreciate someone to take on the role of ordering kit,  ensuring the squad is ready for competition.  We also have a range of second hand kit which needs to be managed.  If you think you have the expertise to help in this way, please get in touch.
